If an EML comes up then it is always best to get it checked ASAP, as the vehicle is letting you know there is an issue that can escalate.
Please call LVS on 01522 500745 and we will be happy to check this out and advise you of the issue.

LVS charge £120 inc vat for a diagnostic check, this allows hour of workshop time ONLY.

We are normally confident in finding the fault within that time however in some instances it can take longer; if further time is required we charge our standard hourly rate of £110 per hour, however LVS will always contact you prior to any further work.

Any vehicle which enters our workshop here at LVS WILL have you`re dash camera disconnected. This  is  our ruling and is setup to protect our business mainly for 2 reasons.

1, Security for the business.

2, Most importantly respecting the privacy our our staff in our workplace.

THE CAMERA SHOULD BE RECONNECTED AFTER ANY WORK HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT AT LVS.

As of January 2026, we are only able to install and code new components that are supplied directly by us.

Unfortunately, we cannot install or code any third-party parts. This policy is in place primarily due to insurance requirements, as well as the increasing issue of vehicle component theft across the UK. LVS has invested in ODIS, a dealer-level tool that connects directly online with Volkswagen systems.

As a company, we cannot risk losing access to our tooling or systems, even on the small chance that a component may be stolen.
