This 2011 VW Scirocco came into LVS as the customer was experiencing a noise from the rear of the vehicle under braking.
Upon the removal of the rear wheels the brakes and discs inspected. The LVS service technician discovered that the brake pads had worn that excessively that the pads were found to be ‘metal on metal’ which had caused irreparable damage to the discs.
Our customer was contacted with the findings and a quotation for the replacement of the discs and pads to effect the repair and ensure the vehicle was safe to drive. The customer authorised the repairs and the work completed to help the customer get on their way for the weekend.
