At LVS AG, we also cater for performance upgrades for the Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles. One of our customers is a keen petrol head and always wants to get the very best out his vehicle. In November 2017 he purchased a 2015 Audi S1. The 2.0 ltr turbo charged engine produces a healthy 230 bhp in stock form.
Within 30 minutes of collection the little S1 was in at LVS. First on the list, install a Revo Intake system. The stock O.E air filter on most modern vehicles can be very restrictive but surprisingly the stock O.E item on the S1 is actually very good.
Fitting an uprated panel filter and larger intake pipe allows more air to enter the turbo charger which naturally increases power output, while the larger intake pipe was being fitted a Revo Muffler delete was also installed to allow the turbo to spool quicker.
The icing on the cake was to install Revo stage 1 software. With Revo performance software installed the vehicles BHP would increase from 230 bhp to a huge 310 – 320 bhp (Dependant on fuel),
Prior to any software being installed on the vehicle, every car has a VHC (vehicle health check.) This is carried out for a couple of reasons. Number 1 to ensure your vehicles engine is in good working order, LVS also carry out a full diagnostics check prior to Revo software being installed.
LVS carry out a multi point check to give you, the customer, confidence you’re vehicle has a full bill of health.
This Audi S1 was then taken on road test by one of our trained technicians prior to Revo software being installed, however at the time of test we found the clutch to be slipping, it was advised the vehicle would require a new clutch prior to Revo being installed.
LVS then sat down with the customer to talk about options regarding what clutch he would like fitting. At this point our customer decided he wanted to push the vehicle to the next level by installing Revo stage 2, this would potentially give the vehicle even more power, however at this point it is critical that upgraded hardware is fitted to cope with the extra power the vehicle will produce.
This involved the following
- Revo Stage 2 Software
- Scorpion Downpipe with uprated cat
- Forge Intercooler
- Sachs Performance Uprated Clutch

LVS booked the vehicle in to carry out the stage 2 transformation to boost power to approx 340-350 bhp, which makes for a very quick Audi S1.
