After leaving school in 2017, I attended Newark college to complete Level 1 and 2 in Motor Engineering. In 2019 I started my first job at Quick Fit where I was employed as a Service Tech and tyre fitter, in 2021 I was offered the same role at Halfords Auto centre in Newark.
I have always tried to better myself and eager to learn more to improve my skill set. In August of 2023, I noticed LVS were advertising for a service tech to which I applied for. I attended an interview which was carried out by Pat, he promised to invest in myself by putting me through various training courses to which interested me as I felt I was being held back at my current job.
Later that week, Pat contacted myself and offered me a position within LVS, since then Pat has put me on various courses, from learning vehicle electrics, Odis (VW/Audi Diagnostics) and also put me through my level 3 training course to allow me to be an MOT tester, I completed the course with a 100% pass rate and became a qualified MOT tester in September 2024.
